The D60 powers up in only .18 seconds to capture pictures with an imperceptible shutter lag time of just 80 milliseconds. Nikon’s 3-D Color Matrix Metering system ensures that images are exposed correctly with beautifully rendered color tones. The in-camera Retouch Menu enables you to accomplish a wide variety of tasks without a computer, such as D-lighting, cross-screen star effects, color adjustments, red-eye fix or cropping images. An Image Sensor Cleaning function quickly and silently shakes off specks of image-degrading dust. The Nikkor lens offers image stabilization, and the D60 is also compatible with Nikon’s extensive selection of AF Nikkor lenses, as well as the new DX Nikkor lenses.
